The long-range unmanned
data terminal based on GSM engine has been quite favored
by industrial control all the time. What recommended here
is a kind of data collecting system with low power waste,
and it adopts the solar energy to supply power, suitable
for the field work continuously, the rivers, the lakes,
ocean, and the special occasion without power line to
transport.
This system adopts SIEMENS TC35 and TI's MSP430F14X mixing
signal processor for core, offering 13 photoelectricity
isolated switch passway, 8 12-bit 200K-speed modulus change
passway, 2 standard RS232s, and integration RTC.
ZOGLAB has already succeeded in using this
technology in some hydrology check and measure station
in Hangzhou.
This develop board introduced at
present integrates the advantage of TI's low power waste,
and steady working of Siemens's GSM. The voltage of
system is 3.3V. It is a good platform for developing
the gathering of GSM teledata. The low power waste works
in solar cell, making it especially suitable for using
in hydrology, oil field, alp weather and so on.

waste of veneer:
MOD1, works serially, open TC35 static 30MA, send
message 60MA (maximum);
MOD2, work disconnectedly, close TC35 when not working,
electrical source module, ADC, photoelectricity isolates
module, static state 7~8MA, send message 60MA
Character:
1、Can accomplish the lowest power waste, and work
serially by using the solar energy in the open air.
2、Will not crash after running serially for a long
time, MTBF>20000 hours. (the longest test time
is running serially for 9 months at present)
3、Can be used as control terminal, and also become
TC35T/MC35T after setup. (GSM MODEM)
4、Can choose general crust or metal crust with shield.
